Dyani is by Limoncello II out of the mare Loki from Stamm 18 A-1. Her pedigree is a balance of the best of Holsteins “C” line and “L” line. Limoncello II is the son of Lorentin I, who was one of the most successful dressage stallions in Holstein, as well as fathered 11 stallion sons. Lorentin I is by Loutano who also produced 13 stallion sons and who’s father is the most famous Holsteiner “Landgraf”. Dyani’s dam sire “Lennon” is the son of “Lord” who was of equal importance as “Landgraf” as they are both sons of the famous “Ladykiller” the anchor of the “L” line of Holsteiner breeding.
Dyani’s “C” line balance comes from the famous “Capitano” who is her Great Dam Sire. Capitano by “Cottage Son” produced some of the greatest sport horses of it time. Capitano produced “Capitol I” which shows up in Dyani’s sire’s lineage that completes the balance between these two great lines.
